We, the Dümig family, are very happy and proud to live in such a beautiful and charming city as Bamberg and would like to enable as many people as possible to get to know our enchanting city.

The best starting point for this are our centrally located and comfortably furnished holiday apartments, which leave nothing to be desired. The "Zinngießer", "Apfelweibla" & "Gabelmann" apartments were completely and largely renovated by us between July 2024 - May 2025. Since May 2025, we are delighted to welcome our first guests to the new apartments.

The Gabelmann apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a charming, almost 500-year-old house at Langen Str. 23. You access the apartment via a beautiful, old, creaky staircase.

The spacious, 75 m2 apartment offers plenty of space for max. 4 people. The bedroom, separated from the living room, features a comfortable 1.80 x 2.00 meter box-spring bed with a choice of firm or soft pillows and a 55" TV. The spacious living room features a large, comfortable sofa bed for 2 people and also a 55-inch television with streaming function. A separate, fully equipped kitchen with toaster, oven, ceramic hob, Nespresso machine, dishwasher, large refrigerator with freezer compartment, cooking utensils, pans, pots are, of course, not missing. In addition, the apartment offers free Wi-Fi, a fully equipped bathroom with a walk-in shower, hairdryer, towels, toilet paper & soap, two wardrobes, and a beautiful dining area in the kitchen.

Child-Friendly

We are a child-friendly house and are happy to offer you a free high chair and a travel cot for children. If you need them, simply indicate this in your booking. In addition, all our apartments are equipped with child safety locks in the sockets.

Information about the Area

The apartment is located right in the city center of Bamberg. Within a few minutes, you can reach everything you need for daily necessities, such as drugstores, supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, etc. In addition, Bamberg's highlights are within walking distance in a few minutes. The surrounding area can also be easily explored by city bus, as the ZOB (Central Bus Station) is in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation (approx. 3 minutes on foot). This also makes arrival and departure by train relaxed, as city buses run regularly from the train station to the ZOB.

Check-IN / Check-Out

Access to the apartment is via a separate entrance at Langen Straße 23.

You can flexibly choose your Check-IN time independently of us from 3 PM. Three days before arrival, you will receive a door code by email, which will allow you to enter the building. At your booked apartment, you will then find the cards with which you can enter the apartment and also the main door. The Check-Out time is 10 AM. Should you arrive earlier or depart later, you can store your suitcases/luggage in our storage room on the ground floor. You can also access this without cards, using the transmitted door code to enter the building.

Invoice

Upon request, we will also issue an invoice for your company, should you be traveling for business.
